GREEN SM ROLLS OUT A NEW VERSION OF THE GREEN SM APP IN INDONESIA, ADVANCING A CONSISTENT GLOBAL MOBILITY EXPERIENCE
Jakarta, April 22, 2026: Green SM today launched a new version of its app in Indonesia, featuring AI-powered personalization, a redesigned “Liquid Glass” interface, and a series of limited-time promotions for users
To celebrate the launch, existing users who download the latest app version can enjoy a subscription package offering 15% off (up to IDR 50,000) across 30 rides, valid for seven days. Selected loyal and high-frequency users will also receive an exclusive 18% discount (up to IDR 50,000) for up to 5 rides from April 22 to April 28.
At the core of the new version is an AI-powered system that adapts in real time to user behavior. The homepage automatically surfaces relevant services based on usage patterns, time of day, and location, helping users access the most relevant options instantly. The system continuously learns from user preferences to anticipate needs and recommend the most suitable options for each trip.

The updated app features a modern “Liquid Glass” interface that delivers smoother interactions and more natural navigation. With a user-first design, the new interface enables faster service access and a more intuitive journey from the moment users open the app. The booking and payment flow has also been refined, enabling journeys to be completed in just a few steps while maintaining a consistent standard of service.
From April 22, users can download the latest version of the Green SM app via the App Store or Google Play. Both versions will run in parallel during the transition period. From May 31, the previous version will no longer be supported.
The Green SM app is developed as a multi-service platform within a unified system. In Indonesia, Green SM currently provides electric ride-hailing services and is gradually expanding additional services in line with its platform development roadmap. With a single account, users can access Green SM across Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, and the Philippines, enjoying a consistent experience wherever they go.

Mr. Deny Tjia, Managing Director of Green SM Indonesia, said: “This is not simply an app update. It represents a step toward building a mobility system that can operate seamlessly across cities and countries. By connecting our markets through a unified system, Green SM is creating the foundation to deliver a consistent standard of experience at scale. This is how we extend not only our services, but our model of green mobility.”
As demand for more integrated and sustainable mobility solutions continues to grow, Green SM remains focused on delivering practical solutions that support everyday journeys while contributing to emission reduction.
In Indonesia, users have logged more than 100 million kilometers of zero-emission travel on the platform. Across the region, Green SM has grown into the largest all-electric mobility platform in Southeast Asia within three years, operating in four countries with over 186,000 electric vehicles. The platform has enabled more than 620 million trips, equivalent to 4.2 billion kilometers of green mobility, contributing to an estimated reduction of 580,000 tons of CO₂ emissions.
Beyond transportation, Green SM continues to expand its ecosystem by connecting partners across the industry. The Green Alliance Frontier initiative has brought together more than 400 partners, collectively advancing the transition toward greener mobility.
